Shifting from conventional to regenerative and agroecological production would contribute substantially to climate, nature, and equity goals. However, the transition is hamstrung by a lack of a shared definition or common measurement framework that speaks to farmers, landscape stewards, business and investors.
The time has come for a harmonized regenerative outcomes measurement framework that builds upon the incredible work of several existing measurement and scoring frameworks. This is the official global launch of the design guidance for a regenerative outcomes measurement framework rooted in the perspectives of farmers and landscape stewards. Once fully developed, the framework will overcome the disconnects between the prevailing 115 frameworks which largely align towards shallower notions of regenerative, thereby building a critical bridge between agroecological, regenerative and Indigenous foodways.
This event is coordinated by Regen10, of which FOLU is a core partner.
