Climate action in food systems can and must bring co-benefits for food security and nutrition. The Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN), launched under the COP27 Presidency of the Government of Egypt, establishes international research, evidence, and best practice, and provides country-level support to improve the integration of these two crucial domains. In this session, speakers from several countries will present their experience of seeking out win-wins at the climate-nutrition nexus. There will also be a special feature on the new I-CAN assessment report, analyzing connections in a range of policies, strategies, plans, and financial portfolios.
